I’m wearing a Breitling Aerospace that used to belong to my grandfather. Looks like it was made around 1990/1991, making it around the same age as me. Got a new battery put in and got a new strap for it and today is my first time wearing it.

Apple Watch Series 3 with a brown leather band. Face: Chronograph.
It already condescendingly
told me to stand up. And I also got 1/4 of the way through my daily exercise goal by just getting the kids ready for school. That speaks highly to the stress level.

Such LCD. Many hitech. Wow.
Me, I’m wearing a cheap Citizen. Only interesting thing about it is that it’s solar powered - I’ve lost my last 2 watches to failed battery compartment seals.

I dont wear watchs anymore. Since i’m riding 90% of the time in summer, the watches just snag on the jackets and make it pointless to wear

Since this is the right post, where can one buy genuine used luxury watches for 5 0% off or more? I hate spending money on watches.

Mi Band3. After having a Moto360 for two years I realized I didn’t use 90% of the functions. This thing shows me the time, takes my pulse, and shows me who is calling and who just texted me for $30 and has a week and a half of battery life with my heavy usage.

It’s pretty classy, I think. 25 year guarantee, or warranty, or something. R
elatively cheap, comfortable.

My Seiko 5 also happens to be my only watch. I’d like to pick up another one or two similar watches, but one with a more formal strap for the three days per year I wear dress clothes to work, and maybe one with a cloth strap for weekends.

$5 Bowflex with heart rate monitor. It might rain today so I didn’t want to put an expensive watch at risk.

Well, I’m sold.
I’m buying one right now! Same as you but with silver case instead of the gold.

I really like it, and after about 10 years of not wearing a watch it proved that I can be a watch person again. I dig walking around with a completely mechanical anachronism on my wrist.

I’ve now got a watch with a leather strap, rubber strap, and steel bracelet. Just need to get a NATO cloth strap and I’ll be set! I do like having variety .

Does look a little small, but I do like the green color. Actually, I think I the timex I used to wear a long time ago was that color.
![]() 11/29/2018 at 11:15 |

That’s a long battery life. I get the appeal of a smart watch, but I prefer a more traditional watch.

I’ve got a rubber strap on my Tag, and I quite like it. Surprised you don’t like the plastic/rubber.

Not sure, I got my Rolex from Tourneau, think it was around 2/3 of the price of a new one.

That is a wonderful color scheme.

I wore a Timex until I was a sophomore in high school, didn’t wear one again until I got my Tag as a graduation present after college.

It feels wierd. I’d like something more airy
![]() 11/29/2018 at 11:28 |

What material would you get?
![]() 11/29/2018 at 11:29 |
|
Any sort of natural textile with a leather rim for integrity would be nice
But its a very “odd” watch; I didn’t see any straps at the store dor this model
![]() 11/29/2018 at 11:34 |
|
Seiko lol
![]() 11/29/2018 at 11:36 |

Looks like you might have to find a specialized strap based on the lugs.
![]() 11/29/2018 at 11:39 |

Seiko? I like these, but I do not know what your definition of inexpensive is
![]() 11/29/2018 at 11:41 |

Much better, I can see it now, that’s pretty cool. Not my style, but I can appreciate it, nevertheless.

Tissot Visodate because the Miyota movement in my other watch decided to stop winding and I never bothered to buy a replacement watch band for my Seiko.
![]() 11/29/2018 at 12:40 |

Well... Aren’t we so fucking fancy today?
My Huawei Watch 1st gen is the most expensive time-keeping bracelet I own. I really only care that it counts my steps, and looks classy enough to wear with my business professional work clothes.
I bought a couple of wider leather bands and carefully cut them down to fit the narrower lug spacing on the watch case.

Vostok Amphibia. Got it not yet a year ago but it’s been reliable and keeps really decent time if worn every day, but a day off means winding, setting, etc. Usual automatic stuff. I’m happy with it and don’t have to worry about knocking it around.
![]() 11/29/2018 at 13:20 |

Russian made, that’s pretty cool. Wouldn’t mind adding a Russian watch to my collection at some point.
![]() 11/29/2018 at 13:22 |

adding on the nato strap it was $105 total direct from Ru.
![]() 11/29/2018 at 13:24 |
|
That’s pretty damn cheap.
![]() 11/29/2018 at 13:29 |
|
yep! And given the durability, good enough to go in space, It’s a better looking buy than any of the timex field watches....although those can sit in a box for a year and come out without having to set the time. Now some mere may call them ‘junk’ but then to some just because it’s not many thousands of dollars equates to that undeserved title.
